Grooming info be held in 1 place under each dog not under owner appts
I still use paper client cards because I want to quickly browse previous grooming info. Having to look under each appointment date to see previous lengths etc via owner page is too messy. Would be easier if there was some way to have tab or in notes that had date.. And then what groomer did, followed by next appointment date and appropriate info and so on. Like a log.

Create a mobile app.
I am a mobile groomer and I'm currently using another booking system that has an app which is great to keep track.
I would love to switch to petstar but no mobile app puts me off.
Could you please consider as everyone has a smart phone these days and I'm sure a lot of groomers wold find it incredibly useful.11 votes -

Can you add a place for a discount space under the product/service
there is a spot to add your own product or service but we have coupons and special offers is it possible to get a discount spot where we can take money off the total and know that a discount was given

To be able to export client data to a spreadsheet for data quality verifiaction and/or a mail merge.
A similar idea was declined even though it got 41 votes. This is our data, our customer details and yet we can not export it for our own use. We should be able to see where fields have not been correctly entered such as a home phone number in a mobile number field.
We should then be able to extract OUR data in to a spreadsheet for a mail merge. Why can';t we do this? Why was this suggestion declined?9 votesA report has been added to the the system

Icon for desktop?
Maybe you have one and I just don't know how to get it..but it would be much easier to click an icon on the desktop to bring you the site.

Ability to view the breed of the dog when searching for its name
We have many dogs with the same name on our books and I cannot remember each of their surnames, so when I search for 'Alfie' for example I have 10 Alfies pop up and I cannot tell which one I want to select because the search only mentions the surname and not the breed of the dog. It would be useful to view the breed of the dog/cat when you search for the name.

Provide ability to import information
it would be good if you could import client excel or CSV files into Petstar. I currently have over 500 clients and there is no way i am going to sit and manually enter all their information. It would also be great if the clients could sync the information with google contacts?

Some of my customers don't have email addresses so text reminders would be a good way of keeping them in the loop on specials and appointments.

Which groomer groomed the pet?
I just noticed the new color option that can be used for each groomer and that is great. Thank you! However, the color goes away completely after the job is marked complete. Is there a way that the specific groomer's color and/or name could be seen just by looking at the appointment page. That way we can easily appoint the same groomer for the next appointment instead of looking at the hard copy information card to see who has been working with the dog consistently or who worked with him/her last, etc. THANK YOU!

Add Resources on the Financial Reports
It would be great if we could add Resources to the financial report so we know what resource completed the services.

I'd love to see the option for two appointments per hour.
My groomers each take 2 dogs every other hour. It's really confusing to put their 2nd 9:00 dog in the 10:00 slot...

Can a facility be included to "sort" by resource ? The reason is so I can see what each resource has produced financially.
The Appointment report currently sorts by date I would like the opportunity also to be able to sort by Resource so that each Resource is collected together and ideally a total per resource would be helpful.
