  1. Make online booking part of the free trial

    I would like to try this program out from what I've seen so far I really like it however the online booking part is not apart of the free trial and I would like to try it before pay 30 a month and not knowing if it's going to be what I want.

  2. Many of our customers do not acknowledge the receipt of emails sent as it comes from Petstar rather than ourselves

    It would be great if the emails showed as coming from our company rather than Petstar as they often are ignored

  3. Cross Breed Dog & Cat

    As part of the standard package there should be the option to enter a breed as Cross breed. You have all the pedigrees but a very large percentage of dogs & cats are not pedigree.
    Subscribers to the advanced version can add new breeds but not those using the standard.

  4. Pets age

    Make it so you can just put in the age number and maybe an auto calculator to update the age. Not all pet owners know their pets DOB

    You can enter the pet’s DOB,
    The reason why you can’t just enter an age is that if you enter 4 today, how old wil the dog be a year today?

    Entering a DOB (or even the correct year) allows the correct age calculation

  5. restricting number of appointments booked same time and day according to groomers in salon

    when booking via advance booking which is great by the way. It would be great if the system allowed via settings for each salon to limit how many bookings can be made at the same time. e.g. if two groomers in that day then it would be ok to have x2 dogs booked in for a clip same time.

    Much in the same way via settings we can select which days we are open in the calender

  7. Extending/adding in the breed section

    I have a very small grooming business that grow slowly. I like to use your free software but I need to extend the breed section for mixed dogs. My question: Is there any way that I'll pay once (and done) for extending only the breed section? There are so many new mixed breeds and they are not included in the fixed list.

  8. Ability to personalise appointment times on the schedule of each day so we don't have to look in diary to see which appointment is available

    I have set appointment times which change from day to day, up to 20 appointments a day. I would like to be able to put these times directly onto the schedule instead of having to change them each time I book in a customer. At the moment the appointment times are only on the hour and this is not practical when you have dogs coming in say at 9:00, 9:10, 9:20, 9:30, 11:00, 11:10, 11:30 etc throughout the day. I have to have a separate sheet of paper stuck by the PC stating the available appointments and times for each…

  9. Is there any way you can structure the default appointment times to half hour, as only defaulting to set hour marks isn't really practical

    Surely it should be possible to default the appointments to say 0.5 (half hour) or 1.5 (hour and half) constantly having to change the time when booking a dog in is time consuming in a really busy salon (especially when you have clients in every half hour all day long !)

  10. mobile app

    1. mobile app for when we are out and about can easily book dogs in on the move

    2. so we can see how many of each breed we have on our system and we can message each breed owners like if we have a offer on for shih we can text all shih tzu owners...

    we need to know which person done each dog...we have 3 groomers and some clients like a particular groomer we need to be able to see who done which dog

  13. Miscellaneous walk-ins

    Would it be possible to have a space on the daily schedule where we can have a "free box" of sorts. We offer walk in services for things such as nail trims, face trims, sanitary trims, anal gland expression, etc. When someone comes in for one of these a la carte services, it isn't always an animal which is a consistent customer so, we don't really want/need ALL of their info to input into the system if they are a one time customer. It would be great though if we could at least jot down the name of the animal,…

    The Schedule always needs a client and a pet,
    This consists of a minimum of 4 fields.

    However you appear to be asking to note down quiet a few fields which would suggest a client record should be created.

    The other option
    Is to create a “Walk in” customer and pet record.

  14. Have a checked in Button and a Contacted customer button .

    Have a Checked in Button, to say that the customer has arrived.
    Have a Contacted Button, to say that the customer has been contacted and that their dog is ready for collection.
    This is a very important feature that needs to be added, as we cant see who has arrived. Or who has been contacted.

  16. Could we please have the ability to add a bit to the behavior description?

    We have quite a few dogs which have a smiley face stamp or a "!!" stamp on their physical/paper info cards to help tell us what their behavior is. The difficult pets could have the "bad" stamp for a variety of reasons though. It could be because they poop every time that they are in the bath, are very noisy or bite, etc. It would be great to be able to elaborate on the "Good, Naughty, Handle With Care and Unknown" choices that you currently have for behavior. THANKS!

    You can either add notes to the client or pet record.
    Alternativley you can set an alert on the client record, so it will ‘Alert’ you if you need to be aware when booking the client in

  17. Rebooking option

    I would like to see a rebooking option that allows me to click on the last appointment and I can set the date and time of their next appointment.

  18. Birthday addition

    When we switched over to Shake Your Tail, we could no longer put just the year in for a pet's birthday. We are now forced to pick an actual date for each pet. It would be great to have the option to just add the month and year or even just the year. A lot of clients have rescued an animal and have no way of knowing their pet's actual birth date and they will just say early 2010 or late 2003, etc. It is also a bit awkward to tell the client that they must choose an actual birthdate…

    Hi Alex,
    SYT first introduced a DOB, we did not have this feature in pet schedule.
    Another reason why we have the DOB is we are currently building a Birthday email, so its essential we get the correct date.
    you can use the notes for a general birthday if you want to record it.

  19. Add photos of the client's animal

    It would be really helpful for salons with multiple groomers to be able to take a quick picture of the animal. This way, if a client is exceptionally happy with the groom, other groomers can see what the animal looked like afterward. Visual comparisons always help!

  20. Have an Option For Repeat Bookings

    I run a dog day care facility and could really do with a booking option whereby I can book in my clients who come every Monday of the week for example, rather than having to add the bookings separately.
