Birthday addition
When we switched over to Shake Your Tail, we could no longer put just the year in for a pet's birthday. We are now forced to pick an actual date for each pet. It would be great to have the option to just add the month and year or even just the year. A lot of clients have rescued an animal and have no way of knowing their pet's actual birth date and they will just say early 2010 or late 2003, etc. It is also a bit awkward to tell the client that they must choose an actual birthdate…

SYT first introduced a DOB, we did not have this feature in pet schedule.
Another reason why we have the DOB is we are currently building a Birthday email, so its essential we get the correct date.
you can use the notes for a general birthday if you want to record it. -
Show how safe client details are and that they are not sold or shared
I am concerned about the safety of customers details that are stored, this could put people off from using the site so privacy information would be very helpful.

Make online booking part of the free trial
I would like to try this program out from what I've seen so far I really like it however the online booking part is not apart of the free trial and I would like to try it before pay 30 a month and not knowing if it's going to be what I want.

restricting number of appointments booked same time and day according to groomers in salon
when booking via advance booking which is great by the way. It would be great if the system allowed via settings for each salon to limit how many bookings can be made at the same time. e.g. if two groomers in that day then it would be ok to have x2 dogs booked in for a clip same time.
Much in the same way via settings we can select which days we are open in the calender1 vote -
Extending/adding in the breed section
I have a very small grooming business that grow slowly. I like to use your free software but I need to extend the breed section for mixed dogs. My question: Is there any way that I'll pay once (and done) for extending only the breed section? There are so many new mixed breeds and they are not included in the fixed list.

Is there any way you can structure the default appointment times to half hour, as only defaulting to set hour marks isn't really practical
Surely it should be possible to default the appointments to say 0.5 (half hour) or 1.5 (hour and half) constantly having to change the time when booking a dog in is time consuming in a really busy salon (especially when you have clients in every half hour all day long !)

More info on schedule page. Remove the second date option on the appointment page, use a "time in" and complete only

make the appointment details (service ) fully editable from one master screen its annoying having to to change screens all the time
make it easy to make the full appointment with all details pet name service price all on one screen, think of the work flow process appointment entry dog completion and pricing and the dog pick up

Reminders for groomers and reminders for when new groom is due
I cannot seem to see a function whereby I can remind my groomers that they have a groom at a specific time - the reminders seem to be about notifying the customer. Whilst we are on that I would also like to see an automatic re-booking function to tick so a new appointment automatically in input (obviously this would need an override too)

Have the Schedule show dogs name, surname, breed and abreviated service. The computer is in Reception and a hard copy is in the Salon.
We have our computer in the Reception area and produce a hardcopy printout for the Grooming Salon. The Groomers keep thorough records of each groom on each individual customer form and keep these in a file cabinet. These forms are pulled for each day for all of the grooms scheduled..

Have a spot for Each Vet by name for the appointment they do.
So when you schedule an animal, you can schedule by doctor.

1 voteA popup is a good idea however we feel that the user would be a custom to click click “close” after a while, it would be good practice to read the pet card when the pet comes in.

Invoicing without currency demonination
It would be great to have an invoice. This invoice should not have a currency denomination just an amount. That way, it wouldn't matter what country the user is in. Also, a ways of showing payment like a simple receipt book.

Export calendar data as ical so you can import to google calendar
If you are not going to integrate google calendar synchronisation would it be possible to export data as ical or csv so we could manually import?

Add ability to search clients by breed.
For example, if we search "Poodle", it would bring up all clients with "Poodle" anywhere in their description. Or, "Terrier" would bring up all Terrier variations. Once in a while we may forget to date or add a name to a "before and after" picture and will need to look up the breed in order to find the name of the client. THANK YOU!!!
