  1. Have an Option For Repeat Bookings

    I run a dog day care facility and could really do with a booking option whereby I can book in my clients who come every Monday of the week for example, rather than having to add the bookings separately.

  2. Automatically complete appointments

    An appointment automatically completes once the time has passed, but you can still go in and amend to 'no show' or 'cancelled' as required.

  3. Expand the Cut note box and install a scroll bar enabling more detail to be added and read..

    At present the Cut notes box is limited to a number of characters. If we did add ore detail then part of text rolls past the box boundaries not allowing the user to read the full content. If the text limit was expanded and a scroll bar inserted to the right, more details could be added and read more easily.

    The Note and Cut Notes are for Notes, add currently allow a fair amount of information to be entered. Additional info can be added on the pet, client or appointment sections.

  4. New appointment the end date automatically became the same as the start date

    Would it be better that when you enter a new appointment the end date automatically became the same as the appointment date rather than staying on the current date.

  5. Pets age

    Make it so you can just put in the age number and maybe an auto calculator to update the age. Not all pet owners know their pets DOB

    You can enter the pet’s DOB,
    The reason why you can’t just enter an age is that if you enter 4 today, how old wil the dog be a year today?

    Entering a DOB (or even the correct year) allows the correct age calculation

  6. Cross Breed Dog & Cat

    As part of the standard package there should be the option to enter a breed as Cross breed. You have all the pedigrees but a very large percentage of dogs & cats are not pedigree.
    Subscribers to the advanced version can add new breeds but not those using the standard.

  7. Import Calendar from Google Calendar

    We currently use Google Calendar for our schedule. It would be helpful if we could import this information over to PetStar so we don't have to manually enter everything again.

  8. Could we please have the ability to add a bit to the behavior description?

    We have quite a few dogs which have a smiley face stamp or a "!!" stamp on their physical/paper info cards to help tell us what their behavior is. The difficult pets could have the "bad" stamp for a variety of reasons though. It could be because they poop every time that they are in the bath, are very noisy or bite, etc. It would be great to be able to elaborate on the "Good, Naughty, Handle With Care and Unknown" choices that you currently have for behavior. THANKS!

    You can either add notes to the client or pet record.
    Alternativley you can set an alert on the client record, so it will ‘Alert’ you if you need to be aware when booking the client in

  9. Miscellaneous walk-ins

    Would it be possible to have a space on the daily schedule where we can have a "free box" of sorts. We offer walk in services for things such as nail trims, face trims, sanitary trims, anal gland expression, etc. When someone comes in for one of these a la carte services, it isn't always an animal which is a consistent customer so, we don't really want/need ALL of their info to input into the system if they are a one time customer. It would be great though if we could at least jot down the name of the animal,…

    The Schedule always needs a client and a pet,
    This consists of a minimum of 4 fields.

    However you appear to be asking to note down quiet a few fields which would suggest a client record should be created.

    The other option
    Is to create a “Walk in” customer and pet record.

  10. Add photos of the client's animal

    It would be really helpful for salons with multiple groomers to be able to take a quick picture of the animal. This way, if a client is exceptionally happy with the groom, other groomers can see what the animal looked like afterward. Visual comparisons always help!

    We believe this holds little long term value and simply deleting the pet should be good enough, please advise what value you think it hold?

  13. Don't have (dog) behind the breed. To dog people that means a male. Leave blank of add bitch for a girl or "F" for female and "M" for male

    Do not have the words "new dog" appear in the cell. It is bothersome to manually delete every time.

    When entering a service, it is possible to enter different prices for the same service. I charge different prices for different areas of town as i charge for travel.

    Instead of having a structured monthly fee, have it so the customer can pick and choose the premier features they want, and pay for those items accordingly.

    Hi Colleen,
    When we decided to introduce our Premier Version, we wanted to make it easy, Free or Paid, simple.
    We dont want to offer lots of versions to our customers and seeing our service is great value for money, it make it a simple choice.
    So at the moment we dont see this changing.

  19. have more information on the schedule information

    i think there needs to be more information on the scheduled tickets.. instead of just dogs name and breed, maybe the client details too.. so address and primary number also dissplayed , this will also be handy for us mobile groomers, so we can have a quick look at schedule and see where we are heading for next appointment , and phone number is right there incase we need to ring.

    This is a good idea, however as we only have limited space to work in (you might have 2,3,4 or more appointments per hour) this is not possible.
    However you can simply click on the appointment to bring up the appointment card to see all the information your have requested.
