Noticed you can't book two dogs with the same owner, you have to come out to do the next dog for the owner

Colour code different services
So at a glance you can see what types of services you have planned that day or week ie inc teeth cleaning or bath only or handstrip etc

Highlight customers (different colour) who always rebook on the day to easily see regulars and target emails for those who don't rebook

Option to email receipts
On services you have an option to print receipt. You should have option to email receipt too.

option to record if the customer has paid by card or cash so it shows up on the reports
for the accountant i need records of who paid card and who paid cash so it would be really helpful if you can record it in services so it shows up on the report when printed out.

Allow documents to be attached to a client's file.
Allow documents to be attached to a client's file. For instance, if a client provides a pet's vaccination information electronically, the ability to attach the document to a client or a specific client's pet would be helpful.

Financial report by groomer
Since some groomers are paid commission it would be a lot easier if you could get a financial report by groomer that totaled their total sales. Right now I have to add up all the transactions to get a total.

Booking/diary management. Would like a button above daily calendar when clicked on shows booking rules so staff can refer 2 (admin setup)
Free text area for admin to add/list/describe salon booking rules - so staff can click on (have drop down list) to remind them of booking rules.
We have different numbers of staff cover on different days and sometimes staff forget, so appts get made incorrectly. Currently my booking rules are written on a whiteboard but it would be super helpful to contain and have to hand this information within the diary - especially if on odd occasion am away from salon but might book a dog in.

Client Details - continuity
When searching for a client or even creating a new one, there are various tabs.....one tab is appointments.
Why cant the system allow for an appointment to be made at this point instead of the long winded way it is set up now.
Instead, the client is created then we have to then select schedule to then make an appointment, select who for when we have just been in their file whilst creating it. Much quicker create a client profile AND book their first appointment at the same time.4 votes -

As a salon we like to write notes of the dogs groom, blades used, cycle and price and if any issues.

Show alert when booking, and add alert symbol to schedule view without having to hover each appointment
When booking an appointment, searching for a pet displays the alert symbol beside the name, but does not show the alert itself if the pet is selected. To see the alert we need to open the customer profile, which takes away the booking window, and adds time to the booking process.
Proposed solution: Have the alert pop up when the pet is selected in the search window while booking an appointment.
Related: In the schedule view, there is no indicator that a pet has an alert without hovering over the appointment. The information in alerts can dictate how you book…

Hi, when you add the appointment and search for the pet, if you hoover over the (!) it will bring up the note.

Hi we love your program, is it possible to change different message for different users as we run a dog training centre, and it would be great to send those customers reminders

A cancellation list.
I have a note pad that gets flung around my salon with a cancellation list on. It would be handy if I had one connected to the software with a notes bit that we can note down when there future appointment is for.

Add a year calendar view..........
In schedule it would be useful to have a 12 month calendar pop up/drop down, as you would see at the bottom of a traditional diary. This would allow for a quick and easy way of booking appointments in advance. When a client asks for an appointment in say 6 weeks or 8 or 10 etc. When running a traditional diary this method was used on most appointments made.

add an area to add products, similar to how you can add services
If you know a client uses a particular product regularly and you sell it - you can remind them to make the purchase. Adding an inventory function would be nice too.
